Who We Are

The Colorado Local Food Network is a purpose-driven collaboration of food hubs and nonprofit organizations dedicated to expanding access to locally grown and produced foods.

OUR VALUES

FUELING HEALTH

Embrace the power of local food production and robust food hub connectivity that nourishes our communities. Purchasing food from the Colorado Local Food Network’s  connected southwest food system helps sustain access to fresh food in rural communities. By prioritizing fresh, sustainable ingredients, we promote vibrant health and well-being while building a resilient, thriving food ecosystem in the Rocky Mountains.

PRESERVING HERITAGE

We celebrate the rich heritage of our regions by championing local food production and fostering strong connections among our farms, ranches, food producers, and regional food hubs. By honoring traditional farming and ranching practices and showcasing the unique flavors of our land, we preserve our rural agricultural landscapes, build on our culinary legacy, and support sustainable livelihoods and a resilient local food system.

CULTIVATING EQUITY

We are committed to promoting equity by prioritizing local food production and enhancing food hub connectivity. By empowering underserved communities with access to fresh, nutritious food and creating opportunities for local farmers and producers, we foster a more just and inclusive food system. Together, we sow the seeds of equality, nourishing both bodies and minds throughout the Rocky Mountain region. We seek to restore many of the systemic imbalances. Fair wages for farmers and fair treatment of farm workers.

NOURISHING COMMUNITIES

The Colorado Local Food Network is a collaborative force dedicated to local food production and enhancing food hub connectivity. By strengthening community bonds and fostering partnerships, we cultivate resilient, vibrant neighborhoods. Through access to fresh, sustainable food and shared knowledge, we empower individuals and inspire collective action, creating a thriving and connected community in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
